Oahu, Hawaii - Day 2

Some High Resolution Pictures Now Available for the Island of Oahu!!!!

Today we took off to go visit the Dole plantation after having breakfast at our hotel.

While we were there, we decided to feed some of the fish in their pond.  They were VERY hungry!!

We had some pineapple and decided to go to Sharks Cove up by Waimea Bay on the North Shore of Oahu.  We saw some beautiful scenery on the way.  

We went snorkeling in Shark's Cove, and saw lots of fishes, but I didn't bring my camera in, so there are no pictures of the fishes to share.....

After all of that, we came back to the hotel to get ready for a surprise that I planned for Laura.  We got all dressed up and I took her to Aloha Tower, Honolulu.  After parking the car, I covered her eyes and walked her to a 120' yacht.  I had booked a 5-star, 7 course sunset dinner for the both of us.  Here we are toasting the occasion.

We looked out the window after we set sail only to see the beginnings of a wonderful sunset.

I liked it so much, I had to add Laura to the picture.  I caught her through a window of the boat and the reflection of the sunset on the window.

I then took a quick walk around the deck of the boat so that I could grab a picture of Diamond Head.  

We went  out for a quick stroll on the deck and I caught her staring over at Honolulu and Waikiki.

Well, we were both totally stuffed with phenomenal food.  It was, however, a wonderfully romantic dinner and evening for the both of us......
