Some High Resolution Pictures Now Available for the Island of Oahu!!!!

Today we slept in after our busy day yesterday.  We went to visit the U.S.S. Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor.

This is the Gun Turrent #3 on the U.S.S. Arizona.

These are some of the ship's moorings that are still above the water.

The hull of the U.S.S. Arizona still contains (and leaks) oil.  See the black and rainbow colors in the picture?

On the ferry ride back to the Arizona museum, we got a nice picture of the U.S.S. Constellation aircraft carrier that was in port.  What a massive piece of machinery......

After we were done here, we went back to the hotel and looked for some nice beach to relax on.  We found a nice beach in the Makaha area on the West coast of Oahu.
